Me gusta el Regueton! Now reggaeton music is huge in the United States, where lots of young Hispanic people feel that this music speaks to them and for them , and is sung and played by Latino artists.   Also called "El Reggaeton", or Regueton, it's pronounced "ReggaeTONE", accent on the TONE. Find Reggaeton DVDs below.

Who are your favorite reggaeton artists? What reggaeton cd should you  buy? Here is "Oye Mi Canto", a Reguetón video hit with super dancers.

We like Tego Calderon: it's so cool, the way he mixes in a little bomba, a little salsa. His rhymes are amazing. In alot of his songs, there’s a true, important social message. Luny Tune’s “La Trayectoria” has remixes of other artists like Tego Calderon and Don Omar, which makes it a great reggaeton album. Totally tight. The two artists who are Luny Tunes,  Francisco Saldana and Victor Cabrera, used to work at Harvard University as a chef and a dishwasher - now there's a  regaeton success story! See more details and CDs from Luny Tunes here.

Another set of very hot reggaeton hits is the cd "Diva", Platinum Edition, by Ivy Queen, it includes the songs Tuya soy, Guillaera, Quiero Bailar and Venganza. These are played alot in the clubs. For a different sound, and great to dance to: Vico C sings in both Spanish and English, fantastic. One of his best reggaeton songs is "Los perros", or maybe "La Danza" is best, you'll have to decide.

Normally, you think of Grupo Aventura as a bachata group. But check this out: Reggaeton lyrics and style blend with other types of music really well. On Aventura's new CD,  God's Project, Don Omar and Tego Calderon sing with Aventura. The song "Ella y Yo" is a hot Reggueton song. Reggaeton music rocks. Spanish Reggae, urban hip-hop ( hurban ), Spanish Dancehall,  Hip hop Reggaeton, Spanish Reggae, whatever you call it, Reggaeton is the best!  So, go out to a Reggaeton club, buy a Reggaeton CD like Ragga Nacion or Barrio Fino, and dance Reggaeton!.
